Did you know that the current state of physical education in Hong Kong falls significantly below the WHO's recommended standards? Recognizing this issue, AlphaStep understands the high demand for kids' physical fitness training in Hong Kong and is committed to providing a dedicated solution.

In our meeting with the founder, we were instantly excited to hear about his vision to establish the first physical fitness training Foundry designed for children and teenagers aged 3-17 in Hong Kong. Additionally, AlphaStep provides innovative and proprioception-oriented programs, setting itself apart from other kids' gyms in Hong Kong that usually focus solely on one-off fun and play experiences.

IDENTITY

The founder envisioned the Foundry as a lively and welcoming space that would captivate both students and adults, nurturing a genuine interest in exercise. Going beyond desktop research, we visited various play centers and adult fitness facilities to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the fitness-based business.

Strategy

The project is comprehensive, covering various aspects of brand development, including brand strategy, the creation of a distinct brand identity, strategic naming, as well as the design of environmental graphics and other brand applications. Our approach ensures a holistic and cohesive brand presence across different channels, contributing to a strong and memorable brand image.

Crafted by Queco, the name AlphaStep goes beyond simplicity and memorability. By combining 'Alpha' and 'Step,' it serves as an impactful call to action, encouraging children to embark on their first steps toward a lifelong fitness journey.

The star in the logo serves as a symbolic representation, signifying that every child is a superstar. Moreover, it functions as a versatile frame for various content. Additionally, hidden within the design is a running track, symbolizing the importance of exercise and fitness.

The branding of AlphaStep exudes excitement, sophistication, and approachability, effectively communicating the expertise in fostering lifelong exercise habits for children.

The contemporary look and feel, which goes beyond conventional branding for kids, is achieved through a vibrant and modern green gradient color palette. This symbolizes seedling growth as a metaphor for a child's development.

This visual identity not only captures the essence of child development but also contributes to the success of expanding the business. Furthermore, AlphaStep's impact is further diversified as it organizes group activities and corporate events for adults.

The graphics on the window facade are visible from a distance, while still allowing pedestrians to view the ninja warrior facilities inside. Upon arrival at AlphaStep, everyone is welcomed by dimensional signage at the entrance, creating an energetic atmosphere.

You can immediately sense the child and adult-friendly environment the moment you step into the Foundry.

Environmental graphics

We've created a program of environmental graphics to infuse the Foundry's interiors with vibrancy, making it an engaging space for learning and play.

Supergraphics distinguish different rooms like the Ninja Warrior area, immersive training space, and gym, each named Lava, Marble, and Magma. Additionally, spread throughout the Foundry are motivational quotes carefully selected to capture the confident ambiance that defines the Foundry.

Results

Our client shared successful sales results and received positive feedback shortly after. Furthermore, we are genuinely delighted for their success, and there is nothing more rewarding than seeing happy and content kids.
